Our Vision
Manorbier Community Council is committed to creating a prosperous, resilient and inclusive community where people, nature and heritage flourish together. Guided by the principles of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, we will work to ensure that today’s decisions contribute to a sustainable and vibrant future for generations to come.
We will protect and enhance Manorbier’s outstanding natural environment, historic landmarks and cultural heritage, recognising that they are central to the identity and well-being of our community. Through responsible stewardship and partnership working, we will support initiatives that strengthen biodiversity, encourage environmental sustainability and help our community respond to future challenges.
We are committed to fostering a healthy, connected and cohesive community where residents of all ages feel valued, safe and able to participate in local decision-making. By promoting openness, equality and collaboration, we will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the future of Manorbier.
The Council will support sustainable economic opportunities by encouraging responsible tourism, championing local businesses and improving community facilities and services. We will work closely with Pembrokeshire County Council, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, voluntary organisations and local residents to deliver positive outcomes that reflect local priorities.
Through transparent governance, responsible leadership and long-term planning, Manorbier Community Council will contribute to Wales’ seven well-being goals by creating a prosperous, resilient, healthier, more equal, cohesive, culturally vibrant and globally responsible community that is proud of its past and confident in its future.
